UT-450 10/100M TCP/IP is a serial bridge module which converts TCP/IP to serial port (TTL). It provides with TCP/IP network to serial signal transparent conversion, and easily brings your SCM into network interface. UT-450 uplinks 10/100M Ethernet interface, downlinks 1 standard serial interface; it is built-in with integrated ARP, IP, ICMP, UDP, SOCK5, and http protocols; and it supports dynamic IP, static IP, gateway, and proxy server

Three working modes:

1. As TCP server, the converter monitors the connection request from the platform program in specified TCP ports
2. As TCP client, when the converter is on power, it sends connection request to platform program actively
3. On automatic mode, the converter usually works at TCP server mode. When the converter receives serial data, it switches to TCP client mode; the converter will send connection request to the platform program, and transmit the data to the platform; once finish transmission, the converter switches to TCP server mode.

The program can receive and transmit data with converter by below 3 modes:

1. Socket
2. ActiveX (Winsock.ocx)

Virtual serial port (When using virtual serial port, the serial data of the controller can real-time synchronous with virtual serial data)

• Connect mode: TCP server, UDP server, TCP client & UDP client
• Get IP address from DHCP server (Gateway); conflicts in IP address are refrained by IP allocation
• PPPoE, connects to the Internet by ADSL Modem dialing Built-in DNS, can get one fix domain name to match any dynamic IP addresses, which helps the host monitors directly manage without any fix IP address
• Auto-detect 10/100Mbps
• Built-in networking management system
• Data backups & recovery setting
