ZLAN5143BI is an RS485/422 serial port serial server with isolation, which can effectively isolate the impact of interference on the RS485 bus on the working of the device and ensure the stability of the device. It is suitable for use in environments where RS485 bus interference is present. Built-in power lightning protection, 9~48V wide voltage. RS485/422 supports 256 loads. At the same time, ZLAN5143BI also has RS232 interface, non-opto-decoupled isolation. The ZLAN5143BI network port supports 10M/100M adaptive network. It can realize the conversion of TCP/IP protocol to RS485/422/232, which is convenient for data collection of serial port equipment through the network. The network terminal can use the virtual serial port to connect the serial port software or direct TCP/IP communication software.

ZLAN5143BI supports the Modbus RTU to Modbus TCP conversion function and has the characteristics of a storage-based Modbus gateway. Of course, it can also be used as a non-storage Modbus gateway.

The original serial port device and the serial port connection of the ZLAN5143BI, 5143BI is connected to the computer through the network cable. The software on the computer establishes a connection with 5143BI through TCP/IP or virtual serial port. Thereafter, any data sent by the serial device will be transparently transmitted to the computer's software, and the data sent by the software to the ZLAN5143BI over the network will also be transparently transmitted to the serial device.
