Overview
ZLAN9163 is an RS232/485/422 to optical fiber product developed by Shanghai ZLAN Information Technology Co., Ltd. The optical fiber is a single-mode single-fiber SC interface, which is used to connect the serial ports of two RS485/232 devices together over a long distance through optical fiber pairing.
ZLAN9163 only need to connect the optical fiber \RS485/232 line to use, no more configuration is required, including optical fiber connection indicator, bidirectional data transmission indicator, convenient on-site commissioning.
The ZLAN9163 optical fiber adopts a single-mode single-fiber SC interface, and the advantage of single-mode single-fiber is that one optical fiber transmission can save the cost of optical fiber when transmitting over long distances. The power input can be a plug or a 2-wire terminal, and the voltage input is a wide voltage range of 9~24V.
At the same time, it has RS232/485/422 interface. RS232 is the DB9 universal interface, and RS485/RS422 is the terminal block, which is easy to install. The ACT indicator lights up when the 9163 serial port receives data, and the LINK light turns on when the 9163 serial port sends data.
When using the ZLAN9163, the user only needs to connect the single-mode single-fiber optical fiber cable of the SC interface to connect the two 9163s, and connect the two serial port devices at the other two ends to communicate. The serial baud rate and serial port parameters can be self-adapting without any configuration. Note that one end is ZLAN9163-5 and the other end is ZLAN9163-3, which is used in pairs.
Compared with ZLAN9153 optical fiber serial port server, 9163 has three advantages
: 1. Zero delay transmission: because 9163/5163 adopts serial port hardware decoding technology, it transmits a single bit information instead of waiting for a serial port 8-bit bit to be collected before transmission, so its transmission is very real-time. It can be applied to fields that require high real-time rotation training.
2. Serial port parameter adaptation: users do not need to care about the baud rate and other parameters of the connected serial port device, the device can adapt to various baud rates, check bits, data bits, stop bits, and is completely plug and play.
3. No need to configure network parameters: users do not need to configure IP address, port and other parameters, because these parameters are cumbersome for first-time users, 9163/5163 can be used without configuring parameters as long as it is connected to optical fiber/network cable.
